Where's That? : Asylum Skatepark

Asylum Skatepark

'Where's That?' our UK wide skate park review series is back! In this feature we head up to Nottingham's very own indoor skatepark "Asylum". Below we will hopfully fill your noggin with all the information you need if you're thinking of broadning your horizons and testing new waters.

The Park

Apart from being home to the UK's best cup of tea, Asylum Skatepark features an incredible playground of vert & street with plans for an updated street section for the future. Asylum was built in six short weeks by Vision Ramps and a handful of volunteers who gave up their spare time to make this indoor park a reality. The park holds a barrage of skate lock-downs which have an awesome atmosphere held up by co-owner petrol head and bmx fanatic Jack. Inside the park you'll also find a shop which stocks an array of hardware for last minute tune ups or replacements and a cafe which offers home cooked food, fruit, snacks and drinks.
